Ladbroke Apartment

London 2016

This 120m² London garden apartment, located on the ground floor of a contemporary building in Notting Hill, has a view on one of the nicest residential street in this area.

It consists of an open-plan living area, kitchen and a study/bedroom on the main level, and two double bedrooms with walk-in wardrobe and their own bathroom on the first floor.

The 5m-high open stairwell is always illuminated by natural light, and built around a custom-made wardrobe.

In the studio room on the ground floor we find a single glass wall to divide the rooms, to which we give privacy through a roller blind that, while dividing, creates itself a seamless bond between the activities of dining, cooking, reading and studying.

Floors are finished in natural oak, as the full-height doors.
Wet areas are finished in whitish, unpolished porphyry stone to give a feeling of strength and stability.
